S.-Rousseau et moi, \u00e0 r\u00e9duire <em>Namouna<\/em> \u00e0 sa plus simple expression, \u00e0 en tirer une suite de num\u00e9ros dansants, de v\u00e9ritables petites \u00e9tudes techniques de raccourcis chor\u00e9graphiques totalement ind\u00e9pendants les uns des autres, d\u00e9pourvus de tout lien d\u2019action.<\/p>\n<p>Ainsi <em>Namouna<\/em> devient cette <em>Suite en blanc<\/em>, v\u00e9ritable parade technique, bilan de l\u2019\u00e9volution de la danse acad\u00e9mique depuis quelques ann\u00e9es, facture pr\u00e9sent\u00e9e \u00e0 l\u2019avenir par le chor\u00e9auteur d\u2019aujourd\u2019hui.<\/p>\n<p>La danse de ballet a trois valeurs&nbsp;: l\u2019\u00e9motion ext\u00e9rieure, le dynamisme et la plastique. La danse pure en a deux&nbsp;: la plastique et le dynamisme qui donnent naissance, il est vrai, \u00e0 l\u2019\u00e9motion int\u00e9rieure et contenue.<\/p>\n<p>En r\u00e9glant <em>Suite en blanc<\/em> je ne me suis pr\u00e9occup\u00e9 que de la danse pure, ind\u00e9pendamment de toute autre consid\u00e9ration&nbsp;; j\u2019ai voulu cr\u00e9er de belles visions, des visions qui n\u2019aient rien de c\u00e9r\u00e9bral.<\/p>\n<p>C\u2019est qu\u2019il est n\u00e9cessaire, parfois, de marquer un temps d\u2019arr\u00eat et de faire l\u2019inventaire de nos acquisitions techniques, de nos apports au studio o\u00f9 se forment les \u00e9toiles de demain.<\/p>\n<p>L\u2019enti\u00e8re possession du pass\u00e9 nous aide \u00e0 mieux cr\u00e9er l\u2019avenir et cette sorte d\u2019arr\u00eat est un v\u00e9ritable tremplin.<\/p>\n<p>Qu\u2019avons-nous apport\u00e9 de nouveau \u00e0 l\u2019arsenal de la danse acad\u00e9mique&nbsp;?<\/p>\n<p>Personnellement, dans mes derniers ballets, j\u2019ai transpos\u00e9 \u00ab&nbsp;l\u2019axe&nbsp;\u00bb de la danse, j\u2019ai modifi\u00e9 ses points d\u2019appui, j\u2019ai cherch\u00e9 un nouvel \u00e9quilibre.
